First 50, awarded
Bénéteau First 50 received her 4th Award as “Sail Boat of the Year” .In Norway, among 7 sailing yachts nominees, two of which were Beneteau (Oceanis 40 and First 50), the First 50 has been awarded “Sail Boat of The year”.
This is a great recognition for Beneteau from the Scandinavian press.
The jury consisted in Ole Henrik Nissen-Lie, Seilas (Sailing Magazine), ,Johan Petersen, Redningsskøyta (Organisation for Safety and Rescue at sea), Axel Nissen-Lie, Seilas (Sailing Magazine), Ronald Toppe, Nettavisen (Internet news site).
Sporty design, original solutions, boat speed, focus on handling under sail and the fact that Beneteau takes the environment seriously are the main reasons for First 50 being elected as “Sail Boat of the Year” in Norway.
The First 50 is definitively worldwide “Boat of the Year”!
